A bone marrow and blood drive is being held on December 18 at the Roy W. Brown Middle School at 130 South Washington Avenue, Bergenfield, for Officer Jimmy Colon, an 11 year veteran of the Englewood Cliffs Police Department, who has been striken with leukemia. Officer Colon is currently receiving blood transfusions and is in desperate need of a bone marrow transplant. The Colon family must now search for a compatible donor who could save Jim's life. |
